Chapter 1

Why Content Research Matters

Study content that works, save it safely, and turn observation into better creative decisions.

If you're a creator or personal brand or writer or marketer or content strategist or someone who studies social media, then you understand the importance of being able to study content that works, break it down, and save it somewhere safe so that you don't lose it. So, today we're releasing the Chrome extension for Eden. That way, you can study any creator across any platform, filter their posts by most popular, top viewed, top outlier, and save any of their post to curated swipe files as boards inside of Eden like this one. Now, inside of Eden, all of this is already here in the discover tab and the creators tab. And this is where you can search for outlier posts, filter by platform, search for a specific creator, and see all of their top content in one place.

And then you can reverse engineer them, get variations on those posts, replicate them, expand to long form, or just add them to a board, and then chat with the board however you like.

Chapter 2

Save Posts to Curated Boards

Install the extension and send any post or web page directly into the right swipe file.

But, today we're going to focus on the Chrome extension. So, once you install the Chrome extension, it'll show up inside of your extensions, and then you can pin it if you want it to show up here. And when you go to any social media platform, you will start to see little save icons here next to videos. And when you click one of these, it will pop open the save to Eden board picker. So, here you can save which board you want it to go to. So, here I'm obviously going to save this one to YouTube swipe file, and then save to Eden. And we'll look at how these show up in Eden later, but no matter which website you're on, when you click this save to Eden button, it will automatically have this link preloaded.

So, you can save web articles or things that aren't social media posts themselves.

Chapter 3

Explore a Creator’s Best Work

Open the sidebar to filter top posts by likes, views, shares, recency, and outlier performance.

Now, if we go to Twitter or any of the other platforms, Substack, Instagram, LinkedIn, I can open the sidebar, and I can also do this up here. So, if I click open sidebar, what this will do is it will load all of the creator's top posts, and I can filter by top liked, most recent, most views, outliers, most shares, etc. I can change the time frame, and I can just scroll through these, and I can save specific ones to specific boards. And one of the reasons we built this is because when we talk to the content strategist for large podcasters and large creators who are using Eden, they spend a lot of time on research because they have to search for top-performing content to then save, then deconstruct, then make it their own.

But that's our entire philosophy in Eden. We want to make that easy, and the Chrome extension is one step toward that. And other outlier tools or Chrome extensions that allow you to filter someone's content are only based on one platform like YouTube. So you can see that this also works with Substack. And if I'm not on a creator profile, then it's obviously not going to show a creator in the sidebar, so I can close this if I want to. But if I go to a creator who probably hasn't been indexed yet, it will start fetching their posts, and then they'll populate once they actually fetch.

Chapter 4

Search Across the Creator Graph

Eden indexes creators and makes their posts available for search, chat, and later research.

It doesn't break your AI workflow. And we can see further, if I go to Instagram, it pulls up the profile that I'm on. It allows me to save any of their posts, and the same with LinkedIn. So if I am on the actual feed, I can save the post individually, or I can go to someone's specific profile, and then it will start to load their posts, and I can see them all here.

Chapter 5

Turn Research Into Your Voice

Use saved posts for titles, scripts, reverse engineering, and guidance aligned with your own brand identity.

And so from the beginning of the video, you can see that in my YouTube swipe file board, the Alex Hormozi video that I saved is here. And so, for something like this YouTube swipe file board, what I can do now is I can hit chat, and then I can ask for potential title variations for the video that I'm creating. I can ask for help on my script and to use the structure of these videos as guidance. And of course, I can do things like boost this post or this YouTube video and break it into post ideas or reverse engineer why it works and then make it my own. And inside of Eden, if you have created your voice, which you do during onboarding, then it will have your writing samples or your content samples, your mission, your point of view, your personality, your vocabulary, things like your audience, your core ideas, and this continues to be updated over time, your influences, your tone, your format habits, even how you structure a specific content.

So, that'll populate here. If I feed it a video, then it will add the framework or the format structure of that actual piece of content. So, when you're chatting, this doesn't necessarily mean that Eden is supposed to write content for you, but what it means is that it can give you ideas and outlines and guide you in the right direction according to what you're trying to do because your voice, this thing right here, is quite literally your brand as a personal brand. So, you have to align everything that you write with this.
